LABUAN, July 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia's space programme will be continued in the middle of the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP), said Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.
He said a decision on this had been taken and the funds would be made available for it.
He told this to reporters after opening the Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan Youth Creativity and Innovation Programme here Sunday.
He added that a total of RM120 million had been spent on Malaysia's space programme thus far.
The highlight of it was Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha becoming Malaysia's first astronaut.
He spent 10 days at the International Space Station in October 2007.
