Ongkili To Launch SGI2012 Logo, Official Song Tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 10 (Bernama) -- Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Johnity Ongkili will launch the logo and official song for the National Science and Innovation Movement Year 2012 (SGI2012) tomorrow.

The launch of SGI2012 will be held at the National Science Centre (NSC) in conjunction with NSC's Open Day.

"Members of the public are invited to the event," the ministry said in a statement here Friday.

The year 2012 was announced as Innovation Movement Year by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak during the tabling of the 2012 Budget.

A total of 377 other activities have also been lined up by the ministry throughout the year to inculcate the culture of science and innovation among the people.
